Batam Water Sports Prices: What Resorts Actually Publish

Only two of the seven operators we checked publish prices. Here they are with the tax added, plus what to ask everyone else.

By SingRankUpdated 6 November 2026 6 min read

At a glance

  • Turi Beach lists a 15-minute jet ski at IDR 669,000++, or IDR 809,490 after its 21% charge (read 6 Nov 2026).
  • Montigo lists single parasailing at S$64.32, before 10% service and 11% tax.
  • Turi's banana boat needs at least three people, and its wakeboarding is priced per boat.
  • No operator we read publishes age or weight limits.

Of the seven resort and island operators we checked for Batam water sports, only Turi Beach and Montigo publish prices. A 15-minute jet ski at Turi is listed at IDR 669,000, which becomes IDR 809,490 after its 21% tax and service charge. Everywhere else, you need to ask first.

Are Batam water sports prices all-in?

No. Turi's rates carry a 21% government tax and service charge, and Montigo's prices exclude 10% service and 11% tax. A price with "++" is not what you pay.

Neither resort dates its price list, so treat these figures as what the pages showed on 6 November 2026, and confirm before you travel.

Turi Beach Resort prices

These come from Turi's own water sports page. The last column is our sum: the listed price plus 21%.

Wakeboard or water-ski, 15 minutesper boat460,000++556,600
Wakeboard or water-ski, 30 minutesper boat770,000++931,700

Two details change the bill. Wakeboarding is priced per boat, not per person. A 15-minute banana boat for the minimum three people costs IDR 574,500++, or IDR 695,145 with the charge.

Turi also lists night jetty fishing at IDR 200,000++ per rod, but an undated resort notice says the jetty is temporarily closed, so ask before you plan around it.

Montigo Resorts Nongsa prices

Montigo quotes Singapore dollars. The table covers the three activities in this guide that have a published price. Its jet ski, wakeboard, banana boat, kayak and paddleboard prices are not published, and it asks you to contact its recreation team.

ActivityListed priceWith 10% + 11%
Parasailing, single, 10 minutesS$64.32about S$78 to S$79
Parasailing, couple, 10 minutesS$107.20about S$130 to S$131
Mangrove tour, 1.5 hours, 2 adults + 2 childrenS$178.67 per tripabout S$216 to S$218
Sea fishing, 3 hours, 4 to 6 guestsS$285.87 per tripabout S$346 to S$349

The last column is our estimate, as Montigo does not say whether the two charges are added or compounded. Parasailing needs advance booking.

We have not converted Turi's rupiah into dollars, because the rate moves. Check the day's rate when you compare, and see our money guide for where to change money.

Which should you choose?

For a day trip, Turi and Montigo are both in Nongsa. BatamFast's Tanah Merah to Nongsapura ferry leaves at 08:00 at the earliest, and the last boat back leaves at 20:00 Batam time. Our day trip guide and Nongsa guide can help you plan. We found no published rule on non-guests using water sports at any resort, so ask before you go.

What to ask before you pay

No operator we read publishes age or weight limits. Montigo says only that some activities limit age, capacity and group size. So ask these directly:

  1. Is the price all-in, and per person, per boat or per jet ski?
  2. What are the age and weight limits?
  3. Do you provide life jackets, and is a guide with us? Batam View says it provides them for its banana boat. That is the only such statement we found.
  4. What happens if the tide or weather is wrong? Montigo runs water sports when tide levels allow, and Batam View's bookings depend on the weather.
  5. Who pays if equipment is damaged, and does my travel insurance cover this activity?

Indonesia does set a standard. The Tourism Ministry's 2025 regulation covers jet skis and parasailing, and calls for life vests on sea boats and a certified safety guide. It binds businesses, and it does not prove that any named operator complies. We also have not checked for later amendments.

Book through the operator's own channels. Turi warns of a fake WhatsApp number on its Google profile, and gives +62 821-7056-5363 as its official number. For more, read is Batam safe? Indonesia's sea and land rescue number is 115.

Questions people ask

What does a Batam jet ski cost?+

Turi Beach lists IDR 669,000++ for 15 minutes, IDR 988,000++ for 30 minutes and IDR 1,626,000++ for 60 minutes, per jet ski. With [its 21% charge](https://www.turibeach.com/watersports.html), 15 minutes comes to IDR 809,490. Montigo, Batam View, HARRIS Barelang and Ranoh offer jet skis but publish no price, as of 6 November 2026.

Can I pay for Batam water sports in Singapore dollars?+

Montigo quotes parasailing, mangrove tours and sea fishing in Singapore dollars. Turi quotes in rupiah. Neither page says which payment methods it accepts at the counter, so ask when you book. Carry some rupiah as a backup, and see our money guide for where to change it.

What age can a child ride a banana boat in Batam?+

No operator we read publishes an age. Montigo says some activities limit age, capacity and group size, but gives no figures. Batam View takes two to seven people on its banana boat and says it provides life jackets. Ask the operator about your child's age and size before you book.
