At a glance

  • Lamoist has two counters at the Harbour Bay ferry terminal, both open 7am to 9pm (Lamoist outlet page, 4 Nov 2026).
  • At Batam Centre ferry terminal, Lamoist is on level 2 and opens 7am to 8.30pm.
  • At Nongsapura, Lamoist and Sun Li both close at 5pm, the earliest of the four terminals.
  • Lamoist delivers weekly to a pick-up point in Geylang or Bedok; Sun Li ships by cargo with a 5 kg minimum.

You can buy Batam layer cake at the ferry terminal on your way home: Harbour Bay, Batam Centre, Sekupang and Nongsapura all have counters. Check the closing time first. Nongsapura closes at 5pm, Batam Centre at 8.30pm and Harbour Bay at 9pm.

Counters and hours below come from the bakeries' own outlet pages and our place records, checked on 4 November 2026.

The short answer

  • Harbour Bay: the most choice. Lamoist has two counters here, open 7am – 9pm. Lapisa and Lady Ann also sell here.
  • Batam Centre: Lamoist on level 2, 7am – 8.30pm.
  • Sekupang: Lamoist on level 2, 7am – 6pm, and a Lapisa outlet.
  • Nongsapura: Lamoist (7am – 5pm), Sun Li in the departure hall (8am – 5pm), and a Lapisa outlet listed as "Lapisa Nongsapura".

Harbour Bay

Harbour Bay has the most layer-cake counters of any terminal. The Lamoist outlet page lists two counters in the Bayfront building:

For the ground-floor counter, Lamoist's own site gives two landmarks: "near Guardian" on the outlet page and "near information centre" in its footer. Look for the counter at the main intersection.

Lapisa lists both a "2nd Floor Harbourbay" outlet and a "Bayfront Mall HBB 1st Floor" outlet on its website. Lady Ann has a counter here as well as one in Nagoya Hill Mall. If you have time before boarding, Harbour Bay Mall also has layer-cake shops.

Batam Centre

The Lamoist site gives two landmarks for this counter: "in front of the main escalator" on its outlet page, and "beside KFC" in its footer. Both say level 2.

Want more choice? Mega Mall Batam Centre is linked to the terminal by a bridge. Lamoist lists a Mega Mall outlet on the first floor, in front of Kolekta, open 10am – 10pm, and Lapisa lists a Mega Mall outlet too.

Sun Li also has an outlet at the Gold Coast ferry terminal in Bengkong, open 8am – 5pm.

Rather not carry it?

Both bakeries with full outlet pages also deliver to Singapore:

  • Lamoist: a weekly delivery to a pick-up point in Geylang or Bedok. Pay by Tuesday and it is usually ready on Saturday (Lamoist FAQ). Lamoist also tells buyers to ask for a receipt with its logo, so you know the cake is theirs.
  • Sun Li: sent by cargo. Order 4 to 5 days ahead, with a 5 kg minimum. Pick-up at its Eunos or Keppel drop points is free, or pay SGD 25 for delivery to your door (Sun Li FAQ).

Carrying it yourself? Remember that Singapore sets one 5 kg limit for all your processed food together. Our guide to bringing food from Batam to Singapore explains the rules. For other gifts, see the Batam oleh-oleh guide.
