About Batam Ice Skating Arena (BCS Mall)
Batam Ice Skating Arena is on the rooftop, Level 5, of BCS Mall. Its ticket covers one session and includes skate rental, so what you really choose is a time slot.
Sessions
There are six a day: 10:00 to 12:00, 12:15 to 13:45, 14:15 to 15:45, 16:15 to 17:45, 18:15 to 19:45 and 20:00 to 21:45. The first and last run longer than the others.
Prices
Weekdays are Rp88,000 for members and Rp110,000 for everyone else. Weekends and high season, which means school and national holidays, are Rp110,000 and Rp132,000. A parent who only watches pays Rp20,000, water included. These figures were posted over a year ago and the rink says they may change.
Extras to budget for
Socks at Rp16,500 and gloves at Rp22,000 are required, but you may bring your own, which saves Rp38,500 each. A locker is Rp5,000. First-timers can rent a Flipper aid for Rp66,000 or a Ramon penguin for Rp44,000 a session.
