Ferry timetable

Stulang Laut → Batam Centre

16 published departures across 3 operators. Checked 6 October 2026.

Crossing time is quoted differently by every source: the terminal says about 90 minutes, The Star (21 Apr 2026) says about two hours, Direct Ferries says 2 h 30 min, and Citra Indomas' booking page shows '2 H 15 M' (its arrival times look like plain clock arithmetic that ignores the one-hour time difference). Left as null.

The Star, 21 Apr 2026 (https://www.thestar.com.my/metro/metro-news/2026/04/21/johor-baru-batam-ferry-frequency-reduced): four companies run from Stulang Laut (Citra Indomas Ferry Services, Dolphin Fast Ferry, Indomas Ferry, Pintas Ferry); daily trips cut from 20 to 14 from 1 Apr 2026 because of diesel costs; departures roughly 7am-6pm at about 90-minute intervals. The terminal page still lists 16 departures, so it may not reflect the cut.

Berjaya Waterfront also notes an RM1 per passenger levy (Johor water regulator) and an RM3 fuel surcharge on tickets to Batam Centre/Harbour Bay (notices undated).

Time zones: Batam (WIB, UTC+7) is one hour behind Singapore and Malaysia (UTC+8). Each time below is in the Singapore/Malaysia time of the departure port, as the operators publish it. Timetables change without notice — confirm on the operator's site before you travel.

Times match the unmarked sailings on the Berjaya Waterfront terminal timetable.

The Star (Apr 2026) quotes fares rising from RM197 to RM240 from 1 Apr 2026 incl. a RM17 fuel surcharge, plus port taxes - most likely a return-trip total; the operator's own one-way price is above.

How we keep this accurate

Times were read directly from each operator's published timetable page on the check date. Departure times are local to the departure port (Singapore/Malaysia are one hour ahead of Batam). We show when each timetable was last checked and link to the source. If a timetable can't be verified, we hide the “next departure” list rather than guess. We don't show fares or seat availability — those are only on the operators' sites. All ferry terminals and operators.
