Browsing
Saved places and trips are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We do not receive that data.
Maps are loaded from OpenStreetMap tile servers, which see your IP address when your browser requests map images.
Accounts and reviews
If you create an account to leave a rating or comment, we store your email address, a display name, a securely hashed password (we cannot read it), and the reviews you write. Your display name and review are shown publicly; your email never is.
We use your email only for your account. We do not sell your data or send marketing email.
We keep a short-lived record of sign-in and review attempts (as an anonymised hash of your connection) to stop spam and abuse.
You can delete your account and all your reviews at any time from the Account page.
Analytics
We may add privacy-friendly analytics in the future; this page will be updated first.
