Places and maps
Place names, locations, addresses and contact details in our directory come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map tiles are © OpenStreetMap contributors.
That data is maintained by volunteers and can be out of date. Each place page links to its OpenStreetMap entry, where anyone can correct it.
Images
Scene images on BatamGems are original AI-generated illustrations created for this site. They show the mood of a place or category — they are not photographs of any specific business, and we label them as illustrations where that matters.
When we review a place, we replace illustrations with our own photography.
